IACL General Congress in Berlin 2026

This unique event, held every four years in a different country across the world, returns to Germany. The Congress seeks to host the whole world, all disciplines, all methods, all principles and all values of law. It is, in this sense, truly the world congress of law. The organisation has been entrusted to Humboldt University – a similarly global name and concept, bridging distances and disciplines since the 19th century. The Congress wants to capture this pluralism, openness, depth of concepts and novelty of approaches in a unique setting.
